The Foundation is proud of its partnerships with Utah’s business community and philanthropic associations. Each year, foster/adoptive families receive thousands of dollars in grants, goods and services, in-kind and cash donations from small businesses, large corporations and foundations. Sponsors and donors are recognized in our monthly newsletters, annual report, and on this web site. Here are some ways you can help:
- Cash Donations: Utah Foster Care Foundation is always in need of cash donations to further its programs and services.
- Event Sponsorships: Events such as the Foster Family Camp at Aspen Grove and the Chalk Art Festival are possible because of corporate and individual sponsorships. Restaurant owner and chef Ken Rose, for example, donated a portion of his business proceeds during the week of the Chalk Art Festival and offered foster care information to his customers.
Visit the Chalk Art Festival online at www.chalkartfestival.org - Public awareness at place of business: The Foundation is looking for businesses which can increase awareness of the need for foster/adoptive families. This includes placing informational posters and brochures in waiting rooms and offering foster care information to their employees.
- Discounts: Through our Partners in Parenting program, local businesses in each region offer discounts to foster/adoptive families.
The Utah Foster Care Foundation is a 501c(3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible. For a list of our corporate donors, see our 2011 annual report (PDF).
